Acoustic batts are lightweight panels of non-combustible glass wool, bonded with synthetic material and faced on one side with a semi-rigid surface, usually black or grey in colour.
Acoustic batts decrease resonant sounds in the auditorium, which reduces airborne sound, impact noise, and noise transmission.
As well as providing acoustic panels and acoustic wall curtains, Specialty Cinema can also supply and install acoustic batts in venues where sound quality is of prime importance. This product has exceptional sound-absorbing capabilities and is generally used in walls or roof spaces where other acoustic solutions aren’t practical.
These batts are available in a variety of thicknesses. All of them fulfil the most strict fire safety regulations, and their design makes them easy to handle, cut, and install, making them particularly cost effective.
